Would you submit designs on a no fee basis if we don't use them?
Only if you are an established client. Any new business design pitches would only be undertaken after agreeing a rejection fee.

Are you prepared to work from our own premises?
No, I am unable to maintain good service to existing clients if I am elsewhere.

What is you hourly rate?
I only quote by project, for an hourly rate to be meaningful the speed at which I work and the services and facilities I offer would have to be known.

You're in Kent, how will you get a project to me?
Designs are usually submitted as PDFs and are emailed. Special delivery and City Link are available for next day delivery. Urgent work for print can be placed on my own inhouse server for FTP or browser retrieval via broadband. ISDN will be discontinued as a service from January 2006.

What programs do you support?
Quark Xpress 6.5, InDesign CS2, Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2, Dreamweaver MX, Freehand MX, Flash MX, Fireworks MX, FileMaker Pro 7, Poser 6, Shade 8, Bryce 5.5, Actinic 7 Developer.

Do you offer training?
Yes, in Photoshop, Quark, and Quark to InDesign. Can tailor a course in any of the supported programs.

Are you reliable?
Most of my clients have been with me many years, so I like to think they're satisfied.

So what makes you different from other designers?
Versatility, I can udertake a broad spectrum of work requiring far less need to 'go outside' for services such as illustration and photography.

Do you just design the look of a website?
No, I also use Dreamweaver as a basis for constructing sites, but have a working knowledge of CSS, JavaScript and PHP. I also use Actinic for cart development.
